Anam Croí (formerly Claregalway & District Day Care Centre) provides a Day Centre and Housing units that support older people in Claregalway and surrounding areas to live independently as part of a supportive, caring and compassionate community. All proceeds from the Anam Croí Charity Shop (formerly Never Too Old), along with the generous support of the wider community, help us to deliver our much needed services.

Our Services
Anam Croí is a registered charity, providing a range of support services for older people in the Claregalway and surrounding areas:
The Anam Croí Day Centre welcomes older people to come and socialise. A visit to the day centre provides a variety of activities in a warm and caring environment.
Day Centre
Anam Croí is an Approved Housing Body managing 14 independent living homes for older people in Gort na Creige, Cregboy, Claregalway.
Housing
Anam Croí’s Charity Shop (formerly Never Too Old Charity Shop) is run by a team of friendly local volunteers. The shop’s profits go directly towards the provision of support services for older people in Claregalway and the surrounding areas.

Who we are
Anam Croí was founded in 2012 to provide social support for older people in Claregalway and surrounding areas. The charity is also an Approved Housing Body (AHB) reporting to the Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority (AHBRA).
How you can support us?
As a registered charity, fundraising is an integral part of our organisation and without it we would not be able to continue to provide the much-needed services we do. The Anam Croí shop provides our main source of funding, however we rely heavily on other fundraising activities to support our work and are constantly surprised and delighted by the generosity and support of our community.
